For most healthy adults, yes. Turmeric has been part of daily cooking for centuries, and two cans of Golden Tiger provide 200 mg of curcumin a day, the amount used in our clinical study. Some people should talk with a doctor first, which we cover below.
How much curcumin is a daily amount?
European food-safety regulators set an acceptable daily intake for curcumin of up to 3 mg per kilogram of body weight. For a 70 kg (154 lb) adult, that is about 210 mg a day. Two cans of Golden Tiger provide 200 mg.
Why daily, rather than now and then?
Golden Tiger is designed as a twice-daily ritual: one can in the morning, one in the afternoon. That’s the schedule our pilot study tested, so it’s the one we recommend.
Who should check with a doctor first?
- People who take blood thinners or other prescription medicines.
- Anyone with gallbladder problems.
- People who are pregnant or nursing.
- Anyone scheduled for surgery.

The short version
Daily turmeric is common and well studied as a food. Two cans a day keeps you in line with established intake guidance and matches how Golden Tiger was tested.
