This Privacy Policy explains how Golden Tiger Bio C, doing business as Golden Tiger Life (“Golden Tiger,” “we,” “us”), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit goldentigerlife.com, buy from us, sign up for our emails or texts, or otherwise interact with us. It also explains the choices and rights you have.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Orders and subscriptions: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, the products you buy, and your subscription settings (frequency, quantity, skips and pauses). Payments are processed by Shopify and the payment providers you choose at checkout; we do not receive or store your full card number.
  • Gifts: the recipient’s name and shipping address for a gift case, or the recipient’s name and email for an e-gift card, plus your gift message and chosen delivery date.
  • Account: your login details and order history if you create an account.
  • Sign-ups: your email address or mobile number when you sign up for offers, news or restock alerts.
  • Forms and requests: what you tell us when you contact us, request a science summary, apply for wholesale or the creator program (which may include your business details, social media handles and audience size), send a retail buyer inquiry, or ask a store to carry Golden Tiger.
  • Reviews and chat: the reviews you submit and the messages you type into our help chat.
  • Flavor quiz: your answers about taste, caffeine and how often you drink Golden Tiger.

Information collected automatically

When you use our website, we and our service providers collect device and usage information, such as your browser and device type, IP address, approximate location derived from it, pages viewed, links clicked, and the referring site. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in section 5. Analytics and advertising technologies run only with your permission, where the law requires it.

Information from others

We receive information from Shopify and the apps that power our store (for example, subscriptions, reviews and e-gift cards), from payment and shipping providers about your order and delivery, and from our creator program when an order uses a creator’s code or link.

2. Health information

We do not ask for health information, and we ask that you not share it with us in chat, reviews or forms. Our flavor quiz asks only about taste, caffeine and how often you drink Golden Tiger. If a review includes comments about a medical condition or health result, we leave that part out before publishing. If you share health information with us anyway, we use it only to respond to you and do not use it for marketing.

3. How we use information

  • To process, ship and support your orders, subscriptions, gifts and e-gift cards, including reminders before a subscription renews.
  • To create and manage your account and answer your questions.
  • To send marketing emails and texts you have agreed to receive, and to apply offers such as your first-order discount.
  • To run our creator program, including recording which creator code or link was used for an order.
  • To publish reviews you submit, following our review standards.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it, with your permission where required.
  • To protect against fraud and abuse, and to keep our website secure.
  • To comply with the law, enforce our terms, and respond to lawful requests.

4. Emails and text messages

Email: you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or on our Unsubscribe page. We will still send messages about your orders and subscription.

Texts: if you sign up for texts, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing messages from Golden Tiger at the number you provide. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to cancel at any time. We do not share your mobile number or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use three kinds of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Necessary: required for the site to work, such as keeping items in your cart, checkout, security and remembering your privacy choices. These are always on.
  • Analytics: help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it. Used only with your permission.
  • Marketing: help us measure and show relevant ads on other websites and social platforms. Used only with your permission.

You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in our cookie banner and change your choices at any time on our Your Privacy Choices page. We honor Global Privacy Control signals sent by your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

6. How we share information

We share personal information only as described here:

  • Service providers that help us run our business, under contracts that limit how they use your information. These include Shopify (our store platform), payment processors, our fulfillment and shipping partners, and the providers of our email and text messaging, subscriptions, reviews, e-gift cards and help chat, and, with your permission, analytics and advertising.
  • Gift recipients: when you send a gift, the recipient sees your gift message and your name as the sender.
  • Creators: creators in our program see sales attributed to their code or link, not your contact details.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our customers, our company or others.
  • Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising cookies may count as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under certain state laws; these run only with your permission, and you can opt out at any time on our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we have about you and get a copy of it;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your information;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of your information and of targeted advertising;
  • appeal a decision we make about your request.

To make a request, email hello@goldentigerlife.com with the subject “Privacy request,” or use our Your Privacy Choices page. We will verify your request by matching information you provide with what we have, and respond within the time the law requires. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of their authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision.

8. Additional information for California residents

In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information: identifiers (such as name, email, phone, address and IP address); customer records and commercial information (such as orders and subscriptions); internet activity (such as pages viewed, with your permission for analytics and advertising); approximate geolocation; and inferences limited to your flavor preferences. We collect them from the sources and use them for the purposes described above, and disclose them to the service providers described in section 6. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. California residents may also request information about disclosures for direct marketing purposes under California’s “Shine the Light” law by contacting us as described below.

9. How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy: for example, order records for as long as tax and accounting rules require, and marketing contacts until you unsubscribe. We then delete or de-identify it.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. Payments are processed on Shopify’s secure checkout. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Children

Our website is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page with a new “Last updated” date, and notify you of material changes as the law requires.
