Yes. Several sparkling drinks now include turmeric, but the amount and form vary widely. Check three things on the label: how much curcumin is in each can, how that curcumin is made more soluble, and how much sugar comes with it.

1. Curcumin, not just turmeric

Turmeric root is only about 2 to 6% curcuminoids by weight, so “made with turmeric” can mean very little curcumin. Look for a stated amount of curcumin per can. Golden Tiger lists 100 mg of Bioactive Curcumin on every can.

2. How the curcumin is prepared

Curcumin dissolves poorly in water. Many products pair it with black pepper extract or oil. Golden Tiger uses a patent-pending heat-solubilization process instead, with no pepper and no oil.

3. Sugar and calories

A drink you have every day should be light. Golden Tiger has 20 calories and 4 g of sugar per can, sweetened with organic blue agave and stevia leaf.

Bonus: evidence

Ask whether the finished drink has been studied. Golden Tiger was evaluated in a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot study. Read Inside our clinical study.
